Iberdrola Renewables Commissions New Wind Farms in Germany and Greece
berdrola Renewables has commissioned new wind farms in Germany and Greece, strengthening its European presence and bringing it nearer its objective of installing an additional 2,000MW in 2008. The clean energy unit of Spain Iberdrola utility group opened the 3.4MW Rabenau wind farm in Germany, with four Gamesa G58 turbines. In Greece, it commissioned the Macrirachi Ext wind farm with identical equipment and the same capacity. The new facilities lift Iberdrola Renewables wind power capacity in Germany to 69.8MW, and in Greece to 223.8MW. The company holds a 52.7% share in the Greek wind power developer/operator Rokas.

Why don't they expand to the Caribbean & LA nations as well,having a greater wind potential and greater
need?
I also want to see this company going "solar energy" in the regions mentioned before.
I guess Brazil is #1 in LA in Hydro
electric & dams construction. They
have proved it in the construction
