The Euro Cup Championship games in which 16 European pre-qualified teams participate starts this Saturday June 7 with its first two kick-off games, Switzerland against the Czech Republic and Portugal against Turkey. The final will be on June 29 in Vienna, with a EURO show and life performance of Enrique Iglesias Jr. during the closing ceremony.

Tournament partner Hyundai/Kia has provided every team with their own bus, decorated with team colors and a EURO logo, and bearing a special slogan selected by fans. Two soundtracks have been produced by Jamaican reggae star Shaggy as mascot songs for UEFA EURO 2008™. Like a Superstar and Feel the Rush form the musical backdrop to video clips involving the twin mascots Trix and Flix. The official Swiss song is a new version of Bring En Hei by Basel-born Baschi. Computer game enthusiasts will be able to experience the passion fans have for their national teams, and all of the excitement of the UEFA European Football Championship™, with the only official, exclusively licensed videogame of UEFA EURO 2008™. The 1.05 million available tickets to all games have all been been sold out months in advance and the event to be held simultaneously in Switzerland and Austria is expected to be watched by more than one billion soccer fans around the world.

The 16 participating states who qualified in the playoffs are : Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Turkey.
