Europe's leaders are less divided than some media have suggested ahead of a Thursday summit on the euro zone debt crisis and are likely to reach an accord that will relieve Greece's woes, French ministers said on Wednesday.
Finance Minister Francois Baroin said leaders needed to send a "strong message" that put the focus on easing the burden on Athens of high rates of interest on its debt and deadlines for repayment.
But he firmly opposed any measures that would lead to a Greek default being declared.
