Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll’s Saturday report indicates that GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney is currently supported by 49% of voters throughout the United States and the incumbent, President Barack Obama, at the same time, is attracting 47% of America’s voters.
The daily tracking poll reveals that only 2% prefer some other candidate and just 2% are in the undecided category.
The day before the first presidential primary, President Barack Obama was leading Mitt Romney by 2%. Thereby, the results of Wednesday’s primary have stripped Obama of the lead in the presidential poll and have firmly put it in the hands of Mitt Romney. Obviously, being a daily tracking poll, all data in the latest poll which puts Mitt Romney in the lead was conducted after the debate.
