It will definitely reach midnight if the US Justice Department is incapable of incarcerating Donald Trump, the front runner in the Republican Party Presidential primaries - where he never attended a debate - in addition to the numerous convictions he is facing in connection with the January  6 insurrection and several other crimes. Has the US become a banana republic?
