He may have failed to pick up Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards, but Irish singer-songwriter Hozier is one to watch.

His hit ‘Take Me To Church’ was named most viral song of 2014 by music streaming service Spotify and has been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube.

It has reached number 2 in the United States and sits in the same position in the UK singles chart.

She was a continent away, but that didn't stop troubled British soul-singer Amy Winehouse from being the main attraction at last night's Grammy Awards as she took home five awards, including best new artist. But the erratic singer -- who once took pride in her drug and alcohol abuse -- struggled to live up to the preshow hype. The visibly jumpy 24-year-old labored through shaky but affecting performances of "You Know I'm No Good" and her signature smash "Rehab." Winehouse, who recently entered rehab and was kept from the Los Angeles stage because of visa issues, looked completely stunned as it was announced that she won record of the year for "Rehab."

But while Winehouse waited offscreen to perform via satellite, the night's other big winner with four awards, Chicago rapper Kanye West, made the best of actually being there. West delivered a literally electric performance of his Grammy-winning hit "Stronger." The staging -- lights low, West in a glowing vest and shades -- looked like a scene from a video game.

On Sunday British soul singer Amy Winehouse won the Song of the Year prize at the 50th annual Grammy Awards Sunday in Los Angeles for her single "Rehab." Amy Winehouse, the British singer with the fantastic voice, yet tumultuous, drug-riddled life, will not be attending the Grammys this year, in-spite of her 5 nominations.

Winehouse, who led the evening's ceremony with four major awards, beat the songwriters behind "Before he Cheats," sung by Carrie Underwood, "Hey There Delilah," sung by the Plain White T's, "Like a Star" sung and written by Corinne Bailey Rae, and "Umbrella" performed by Rihanna. Winehouse, who was not at the ceremony to pick up the award personally, was originally due to perform live at the show but was denied a US visa last week. By the time US authorities approved her visa on Friday, her publicist said it was too late for the 24-year-old singer to travel to Los Angeles.
