The Netherlands: Dutch PM Rutte Hopes to Lift Social Distancing Rules Sept 20

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Friday said the government is considering lifting social distancing rules on Sept. 20 as COVID-19 cases in the Netherlands ease.

In the week ended Aug. 10, cases fell by 14% in the Netherlands to 103 per 100,000 inhabitants, the country's National Institute for Health (RIVM) found.

USA: Donald Trump, the leader of the insurgent and domestic terrorist group which planned, encouraged and invaded the Capital Building must be removed from office - by RM

The leader of the disgraceful insurrection yesterday at the Capital building storming, who is completely delusional , but still sitting in the White House with incredible powers at his disposal, must immediately be removed from office, based on US laws as described in the US Constitution re 25th Amendment.

It also must be noted that an investigation has to be started why there was no adequate protection deployed at the Congress, even though news of this potential insurrection was know far in advance? Hopefully given the fact many of insurgents can be identified, as they carried out acts of vandalism , the Police and FBI will be able to find them and prosecute them.

As a note of comparison -- if this had been a demonstration by "black lives matter" the area would have been crawling with security forces and vandalism would have cost many demonstrators lives.

WTO:China may impose $3.58 billion in annual trade sanctions on U.S. - says WTO panel

A World Trade Organization (WTO) panel said on Friday that China was entitled to slap compensatory sanctions on U.S. imports worth $3.579 billion (£2.76 billion) annually for the U.S. failure to remove anti-dumping duties - roughly half the amount China had sought.

Syria: Women burn niqabs after Syrian town of Manbij is liberated from ISIS.

Residents from the northern Syrian city of Manbij are celebrating their freshly restored freedoms after U.S.–backed forces seized full control of the town from ISIS, which had been using civilians as human shields.

Photographs show people pouring into the streets to celebrate after a battle that lasted 73 days. Wrestling control of Mabij from ISIS marks the biggest defeat for the group in Syria since July 2015, notes the Associated Press, and comes amid a string of territorial losses for the extremist group. “The city is now fully under our control but we are undertaking sweeping operations,” a member of the Syria Democratic Forces, the alliance of Kurdish and Arab forces who receive air support from the U.S., said.

One particularly poignant photo shows a woman burning her niqab, as women could finally walk the streets without having to cover their faces for the first time in more than two-and-a-half years. Similar scenes have become common in other towns liberated from ISIS.
