Quebec Premier Heads to Europe
QUEBEC CITY — Jean Charest is leaving Thursday for a 13-day official visit to Europe that will take the Quebec premier to France, Austria and Germany. Spokesman Hugo D'Amours said it wasn't an economic mission, but that "there is a potential (for trade) that we want to develop in the region."
Charest's first stop is Paris, where he will meet with French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin and his predecessor Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
