Germany is the second largest contributor to Georgia’s reconstruction. As of this year, Germany has donated or invested upwards of 277 million Euros in Georgia. Based on agreements with the Georgian government, Germany has supported those sectors that are considered the most important for economical, political and public reconstruction. For example, Germany has provided assistance with the implementation of a private property registration system. This represents a solid foundation for developing a solid market economy.
