Serbia Rules Out Territorial Concessions
Serbia will never give up its sovereignty over its southern Kosovo-Metohija province to gain membership in the European Union, Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said Saturday. “The government is fully united and categorical in its stand that Serbia will never agree to usurpation of Kosovo-Metohija province for the sake of integration in European structures,” said Serbian Premier in an interview with the Tanjug news agency, adding that “the government’s priority is to take care of Serbia’s interests.”
