20 Eurofighters triumph in mock combat against variety of other combat jets

Twenty Eurofighters from the RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire triumphed in mock combat exercises above the skies of Spain with a variety of aircraft, including ten US F-18 Hornets, four French Mirage F1s, four British Harrier jump jets, and four US F-16 Falcons. The five day training exercise, known as Operation Typhoon Meet was held at the Spanish Air Base near Sevilla. Up to 70 different aircraft flew in the training areas over Toledo, Albacete and Huelva each day.
