Deutsche Bank's DWS plans to expand in Europe
Deutsche Bank AG's fund management unit DWS is planning to expand in Europe, particularly in the Benelux countries, Italy, Spain and Switzerland, DWS Europe head Stephan Kunze told daily Handelsblatt. 'DWS wants to transform itself from a German into an international company', Kunze said. Kunze also said that DWS' short-term aim is to become as big as US investment groups Fidelity and Franklin Templeton in Europe.
