U.S. Cannot Win Iraq War, Say Americans
Many adults in the United States are despondent about the progress of the coalition effort, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 51 per cent of respondents think it is not possible for the U.S. to win the war in Iraq.
The coalition effort against Saddam Hussein’s regime was launched in March 2003. At least 3,352 American soldiers have died during the military operation, and more than 25,000 troops have been wounded in action.
