he called a "feminist" government including Green Party ministers for

"The Swedish people voted for a
change of government and a new political direction. A new government
comprised of the Social Democrats and the Green Party is ready to take
up the task," Loefven said in his inaugural speech to parliament.
"Sweden's new government is a feminist government," he said.
Half
his cabinet is female, including Finance Minister Magdalena Andersson
and Foreign Minister Margot Wallstroem, a former EU commissioner.
Sweden's new prime minister said recently that
his government will recognize a Palestinian state, a move that drew
praise from Palestinian officials.
Note EU-Digest: In a declaration listing his government's
priorities, Social Democratic leader Stefan Lofven told lawmakers that
the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can only be resolved through a
two-state solution requiring "mutual recognition" and a will from both
sides to co-exist peacefully.
"Therefore Sweden will recognize the state of Palestine," Lofven said.
