Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has denied that people are confused over the ratification of the EU Constitution. The draft Treaty needs agreement from 25 member states but EU founder members France and the Netherlands have already rejected it. However Mr Ahern pointed out that 10 countries have already ratified it and 13 have yet to decide, including Ireland. “That’s where it’s at. I don’t think there’s any confusion,” he told reporters in Dublin today.
