Eighty percent of young people between 13 and 24 say that believing in God makes them happier
Some 80 % of the American kids who believe in God say that their belief has made them happier. Only 60% of "non-believers" young adults polled said that they felt happy.

Living in the US (and raised in religion) in a very highly Christian area, I would be tempted to add that during a typical Christian childhood, a young child might be told that "Jesus is the way to happiness" about a million times? I'm surprised that only 80 percent of religious folks describe being "happier," and I wonder why even 60 percent of non-believers can conceivably be happy!
To me (a non-believer) I find this statistic encouraging!
