Euro back above $1.30 for first time in three weeks
The euro broke through the $1.30 level for the first time since February and the British pound rallied on Monday, as investors sought out riskier trades and global stocks continued to advance.
The euro rose to $1.3032, up from $1.2931 in late North American trading on Friday.
The British pound jumped about 1%, to $1.4138 from $1.4000 Friday.
