No drilling on deep waters will be conducted before the circumstances around the accident in the Gulf of Mexico have been clarified, Norway’s Minister of Petroleum and Energy said at a conference today. "I will not allow new deep-water drilling before we have good knowledge about what happened with the Deepwater Horizon and what this will mean for Norwegian legislation", Minister Terje Riis-Johansen said at a conference in Svolvær, Norway, today.
