India's Prime Minister-elect, Narendra Modi, has celebrated his
landslide victory in India's election with a number of public
engagements.
Mr Modi attended a victory procession in the capital, Delhi, before offering prayers on the banks of the river Ganges in the Hindu holy city of Varanasi.
Manmohan Singh, whose Congress party was crushed in the poll, has tendered his resignation as prime minister.
