Most of us spend at least 40 hours, if not longer, at work each
week. Since so much time is spent at the office, how can we make that
atmosphere more pleasant and productive?
Nikil Saval, author of the recently released book Cubed: A Secret History of the Workplace,
thinks the key to improving office environment starts with adding more
windows and natural light. That’s an easy sell to anyone who has sat in a
cubicle under florescent lights for too many hours, and Saval’s
research found that human brains simply function better with a
connection to nature.
