Norway clears development of Statoil-operated Tyrihans field
OSLO (AFX) - The Norwegian government has cleared the development of the Tyrihans field in the Norwegian Sea, which will be led by Statoil ASA, reported Norwegian newswire NTB. Statoil has a 46.8 pct holding in the field. Its partners are Total with 21.51 pct, Norsk Hydro ASA with 12 pct, ExxonMobil with 11.75 pct and Eni Norge with 7.9 pct. NTB said the Tyrihans field will be one of the largest developments on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in the coming years.
