Total number of Casualties as of today February 13, 2006, 6am EST amounted to 2471 of which 2267 US casualties, 101 British, and 103 other "Coaltion" members. The number of soldiers wounded are 16,653, most of them have been repatriated back to the US and other coalition member states.
From Afghanistan comes a report today that four U.S. service members killed in IED strike when their up-armored Humvee was struck by a suspected improvised explosive device north of Deh Rahwod in Uruzgan Province. British and Dutch troops are expected to replace American troops in this area in the coming months.
