Belarus: New prohibitive laws: A dangerous tendency
New laws regarding alcoholic beverages and night clubs are on discussion now, and can be enforced soon (but hopefully they will be dropped).
1: All alcoholic beverages won’t be sold in the shops after 22:00. There is already a problem in Minsk, where local authorities forbid selling beer, vodka and cheap wines after 23:00; somewhere you can buy at least decent wine or “elite” vodka, but somewhere shops stop selling all strong drinks after 23. Now the whole Belarus will suffer; heavy drinkers will always have their “dose” bought in afternoon, but many occasional parties will be spoilt.
