Airbus sells 8 wide-body jets to Pegasus
Airbus has sold two A350XWB jets and six A330-200 planes to leasing company Pegasus Aviation Finance, the planemaker said on Thursday. The deal for a total of eight wide-body jets is worth some $1.4 billion at list prices.It was signed in December, Airbus said.
It is the first order for the redesigned A350, Airbus's next mid-sized long-haul aircraft to enter service in 2013, since parent company EADS approved the revised project in November.
