Guus Hiddink is set to be named Netherlands national coach – for the second time.
The Dutch federation have moved swiftly to get their man as they try to stave off potential interest from Premier League clubs searching for an experienced manager.
Hiddink, 67, will take over from Louis van Gaal after the World Cup finals next summer.
He has agreed a deal until 2018.
Dutchman Hiddink led Chelsea to an FA Cup triumph in 2009 three months after replacing Luiz Felipe Scolari.
He previously managed Holland from 1994 to 1998, and has also coached South Korea, Australia, Russia and Turkey as well as six other clubs. He quit Russians Anzhi Makhachkala in July.
