Reports from a government spokesman in Tripoli yesterday credit a NATO airstrike for killing Colonel Qaddafi's youngest son, Saif al-Arab Gaddafi, and three of his grandchildren.
Libyan government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim told al-Jazeera that the Libyan government would not be releasing the names of the children to protect the privacy of the families.
Speculators suggest this most recent claim by Qaddafi could be an attempt to garner sympathy, and much needed support, from China and Russia
