"Greece-Italy pipeline to feed energy-hungry Europe

As Europe seeks to diminish its dependence on Russia for energy supplies, it can expect to import natural gas from the Caspian Sea basin reserves, thanks to a pipeline that will link Greece to Italy. The gas would travel through Turkey. This is about European Energy security because Europe plans to create a new route for gas to reach the large southern and western European markets by way of Italy."
