New boss for AOL Europe - by Mark Sweney
AOL Europe chairman and chief executive Philip Rowley is to retire, with former head of telco Belgacom, Dana Dunne, appointed head of Europe. Embattled AOL Europe went through no fewer than three European chiefs last year. Mr Rowley was the last of the senior executives to step down following the sale of the company's internet-access business across Europe.
AOL has also announced that Maneesh Dhir, senior VP and country manager of India, will lead the company's international operations as executive vice president. He will report directly to AOL president Ron Gant.
